I first started showing horses in my late teens and
continued to train & show horses for 10 years. My crowning glory was winning
"Amateur to Ride" at the Cow Palace and California State Fair Horse Show.
For the next 15 years I owned and had shown to a championship a Rhodesian
Ridgeback male and a Maltese bitch. We had loads of fun playing with the
dogs and after their championships, Boomer & Issa stayed home as our
companion and pets to the ripe old age of 14 yrs.
I then became interested in the Rottweiler. "Shatze"
was my first rottweiler and our foundation sire. He became Multi BIS Am. Can Ch. Iron Chancellor v.
Bergenhof CDX CGC; 1989-2001 (Multi BIS BISS #1 Rott 3 yrs. Ch. Nelson
v h Brabantpark X BOSS Select Ch. Sophe v h Bergenhof CDX) ; #1 Rottweiler for most of 1995; Top Ten
Working Dog. In 1996 Shatze won Best of Breed at Westminister and garnered
a Group IV in the Working Group. He then went on to his CD & CDX in the next
few months and #3 in Obedience. Our foundation bitch was Gamegard's
Mirra Image (BISS Ch. Pioneer's D J. Star Steuben CDX, Gold Sire X Ch.
Gamegard's Femme Fatale, Silver Dam). In 1998, our Shatze x Mirra kids won
their Championships and "Bubbles" won a Best of Breed; Am./Mex./FCI Int.
Ch. at World Dog Show 1999 Ch. Iron Barbie Chancellor HS (AHA); her brother
won Best of Winners at the Kansas City Specialty and her sister won her
Championship and was finished in the Top Ten for the month.
Since 1996 we have produced & finished over 40
Champions and working rottweilers, including Multi BISS, Multi TOP Ten and
Top Twenty, #1 Rottweilers in U.S.A., only Triple Crown Rottweiler Bitch
